Eyad Kaileh was born and raised in San Francisco, California. Prior to moving to Austin in 2004, he was actively involved in the Bay Area music scene throughout the 1990’s. He played drums with multiple punk, hardcore and experimental groups while living in the Bay Area. He also worked as a session drummer for some Bay Area hip-hop acts during the 1990’s.
Eyad played with Bay Area bands Brown Trout, Lost Ground, Sheep Squeeze (with members of Spazz), Perlisium Cantos (members of Shroom Union, and Kalmex & the Riff Merchants), Hero (members of Her Space Holiday, Current and Jihad), Paper Messiah, and Lucifixion. He also played as a studio and touring drummer for Her Space Holiday throughout the 90’s until 2009.
After relocating to Austin, he re-joined Her Space Holiday to tour Europe, Japan, the U.S. and Canada. He continued drumming for Her Space Holiday on multiple U.S. and Canadian tours until 2009. He joined the Austin musical collective, Attack Formation in 2005 and contributed to it’s sister project, (iN) Formation. In recent years, he’s played drums for Har Mar Superstar and is active member of Texas’ Sub Oslo. He has since joined with some members of Attack Formation and others to play in Bangaar. He currently plays percussion and wind instruments in Sub Oslo and Bangaar.
